So I purchased this item after searching through the other items and thought I would try this out. I own an 10" Acer A500 tablet and a 2011 Ford Edge.
Pros: The item is easy to set up, just be careful sliding out the tabs, if you use too much force, you can break it. The tablet fits snuggly and I can definitely expand it to hold my tablet with its cover. The mount rotates which is definitely a plus. It attaches easily to the back of the headrest and you can adjust the height/angle of the tablet for better viewing. Overall, I think its sleek and would be able to fit any 7" - 10" tablet easily.
Cons: So my first complaint is not the item itself, but the shipping. The seller should really consider going with Amazon Prime and that was a killer for me, but I ordered the item anyway. Its a great item, but I'm sure the shipping costs are putting off a lot of customers. But, I did order on a Tuesday and received the item by Saturday, I believe they ship out of CA and I live in... Purchased to mount a 7" portable TV for a 10+ hour long car trip. All parts are low-grade plastic. The swivel mount only rotates 180 degrees. I ended up simply using the mount in "land-scape" setting and only used the bottom and top rubber mounts which held the TV to the headrest mount. The actual interface between the mount and the headrest bars is flimsy, yet oddly secure. My initial fears of the mount falling were unfounded - as there were no problems at all during the trip, or when the unit was bumped upon entering\exiting the car. The TV and mount held firm. My only complaint is the clamping mechanism is not quite wide enough for the 7" TV I had. I am guessing the mount would work flawlessly for which it was intended - a tablet, since it held on to a much thicker portable TV.

I got this for my iPad2 and it is a nice solid fit and easy to put together. I have the iPad (rev 1) also, which went to my girlfriend, and it fits nicely also.

I recommend of the screws to connect the iPad's bracket to the arm you use the medium length screws, as they fit well and keep the screw from "breaking the plane" of where your iPad will sit.

Pros: Suction cup really holds tight, solid pieces that look like they will last.

Cons: "Universal" pieces mean iPad2's power button is hard to get to. You may have a harder time if you are not mechanically inclined since it does not come with detailed instructions, just some basic ones.
