| 17 of 17 people found the following review helpful  Great for motocycles, By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Garmin Mounting Cradle (Electronics) I bought this with the Nuvi 550 and it is a nicely built and well thoughtout cradle.The reason I purchased this was to connect it to my motorcycle and it has everything you need to attach the unit to a RAM mount as well as connect it directly into the 12 volt power system on the bike. Quality is great, the cradle is solid with a locking tab, power cable is fused and easy to connect. When you place your Garmin in the cradle it now locks in with a tab that locks and unlocks. Also, you plug the power into the unit first and then you can cradle it. My old mount you really needed to mount the Garmin and then put the power wire in which was a pain. When the Garmin is not in the cradle there is a place to put the end of the connector on the unit.
